Dr. Von Howard Ebron has diverse background in the field of chemistry with exceptional experience in electroactive coating systems, conducting polymer and carbon nanotube research. He is currently leading Crosslink’s program focused on solid state polymer based supercapacitors designed to provide quick charging and extended power supply under extreme conditions within a minimal footprint.

 

Previously Dr. Ebron was the Technical Lead on Crosslink’s self-detoxifying polymer coating systems aimed at destroying chemical and biological warfare agents, as well as more common toxic chemicals and biological systems. The technology is based on generation of hydrogen peroxide in-situ and on-demand and the subsequent formation of an activated peroxide that is very effective in destroying harmful chemical and biological systems, forming benign products.

Von has wide knowledge in conducting polymers, material science, electrochemical and analytical characterization techniques both at ambient and inert conditions, including method development and troubleshooting. He has 7 patents (2 issued, 5 applications) and has authored and co-authored 7 papers, 2 of which were published in high-impact journals.
