When he joined Crosslink in 2009, Dr. Abhishek Kumar Singh brought with him a wealth of experience including more than 9 years of work in fibrous composites and greater than 3-years in polymers and ceramic nano-composites. Singh is presently the Team Leader at The Accelerator in Hattiesburg, MS conducting scientific research to develop structural health monitoring sensors for composite structures using highly conductive polymers.

 

In his position of Team Leader at Crosslink his focus is on modeling composite behavior under complex mechanical and thermal stress loading, developing test fixtures for mechanical characterization of polymer sensors, and establishing test methods for material characterization.

During his scientific career Dr. Singh has authored in 19 publications including 4 co-authored papers relating to his Crosslink research on the structural health monitoring of carbon fiber composites. Additionally he is included in a 2009 patent application "Compliant and Wireless Health Monitoring Sensors for Composite Structures".

Dr. Singh is a member of numerous scientific associations including the Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE), The Materials Research Society (MRS), The American Ceramics Society (ACerS) and The American Nuclear Society (ANS).
